Classes and Workshops
| To reserve a space in class, it is necessary to pre-register and pre-pay for all classes. Registration may be done in person, or by phone using a credit card, check or cash. Upon registration you will be given a list of supplies for the class and a list of what is in a basic sewing supply kit (sewing machine in good working order, rotary cutter, cutting mat, ruler, scissors, threads, bobbins, etc). S.E.W. Studio makes a commitment to the teacher one week prior to the start of class. Cancellations made at least seven days in advance will receive a store credit for another class. No refunds or credits will be given after the class begins, and no refunds will be given to no shows. Since there is always the possibility that a class may be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, registered students will be contacted and given the choice of receiving a full refund or transferring the fee to another class. To help prevent cancellations, students are encouraged to register early. |
| All supplies should be purchased prior to class starting. Be sure to request a supply list at the time of registration. In order to encourage you to use the appropriate and high quality supplies needed for classes, S. E. W. Studio class participants will receive a 10% discount on all class supplies! S.E.W. Studio can provide machines for all of its classes. However, you are encouraged to bring your own machine. It is very important that all sewing machines brought in to class are in good working order (New needle, serviced, etc.). It is very important that class time is maximized, therefore minimal time will be spent troubleshooting machine problems. If you purchased your Pfaff or Bernina at S.E.W. Studio and need instruction on how to use your machine, sign up for one of our guide classes - you'll learn all about your machine and find out what all those feet do! S.E.W. Studio offers a wide range of machines in a variety of price ranges. Instructors are knowledgeable with the general operation of the machines sold at S.E.W. Studio. Therefore, students using a machine from S.E.W.Studio, will receive the appropriate technical support during classes. |
